Summary
Provide bank managers with quantitative analysis insights of consumer and
small business customer and product portfolio behavior.  Develop and
utilize predictive models of product acquisition, usage, and attrition,
channel usage, customer profitability analysis, life cycle behavior and
profitability, price elasticity analysis, market share projections and
migration analysis.  May manage a project team of analysts. May use
statistics, linear programming, stochastic modeling, neural network
estimation and profitability modeling.  Work collaboratively with CDMA and
other marketing staff. Interact with senior business line managers to
ensure business line needs are met.

SKILLS:

1. Knowledge of statistics, operations research, and various data
discovery techniques, as well as the software tools and database
environments that facilitate this analysis.  Knowledge of SAS, Cognos
Impromtu, Neural network tools or linear programming tools desirable.

2. Strong interpersonal and communications skills.  Ability to effectively
work with clients with varying levels of technical understanding.  Ability
to design and deliver effective presentations and memoranda.

3. A self-starter, capable of working with minimal oversight.  Ability to
translate business manager's needs into quantitative modeling projects.

4. Ability to work as a consultant to business line managers, balancing
responsiveness with control and quality.

5. Well-developed aptitude for quantitative analysis-- and enjoyment of
the challenge of solving problems that require creative analysis of data.

6. Knowledge of banking and the areas of banking  requiring significant
expertise (profitability analysis, risk analysis, behavioral marketing
analysis).
