Jovio is an early stage, market-driven technology company that develops and
markets software for the growing digital broadcast television industry in
general and the Personal Video Recording market in particular.

We are looking for an individual to help spearhead the development of some
of our core technology of the profiling and AdView inventory components.
This individual will be involved in the requirement analysis, the
development of the technology, the filing of respective patents, the
software architecture and design, the implementation, the deployment, and
the documentation of these highly sophisticated software components.

The ideal candidate should have:
· Experience in data mining, demographic profiling, clustering, and
    knowledge discovery in databases or related methodologies.
· A solid understanding of advanced statistical concepts, numerical
    simulations, and modeling.
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
· Strong leadership, communication, and team participation skills.
· Exposure to consumer broadcast media, a big plus.
· Proficiency with the Oracle database and the Java programming language, a
     plus.
· Exposure to artificial intelligence techniques (neural networks, fuzzy
    logic, optimization), a plus.
· MS, Ph.D. (or equivalent experience) in computer science, applied
    statistics, operation research or related field and 5 years of related
    experience.
