POSITION SUMMARY

Develop new visualization methods for n-dimensional, hierarchical
data, as well as data derived from free-text clustering algorithms.
Contribute to the design and development of leading-edge knowledge
discovery and information management software by designing intuitive
and sharp user interfaces that integrate efficiently into
multi-threaded applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide creative, innovative solutions for displaying complex,
correlated information.  Design exceptional user interfaces for web
and client/server environments.  Work collaboratively with a team of
developers to build and deliver high-end software in a tight
development cycle.  Independently develop and deliver significant
software product components.

QUALIFICATIONS
CS degree or equivalent; Masters preferred.
3-5 years experience developing commercial-grade GUIs.
Strong object-oriented design and development skills.
Proficient with one or more Rapid Application Development suites, including,
but not limited to C++ Builder, Delphi, Visual Basic.
Understanding of XML.
Experience with C++, COM, and ActiveX.
Understanding of relational database systems and modeling concepts.

DESIRABLE SKILLS
Web application development experience in NT, Unix (Solaris), and/or
    Linux environments.
Programming experience with Java, ASP, PHP, Perl, VBScript.
GUI development for Unix and/or Linux clients.
Experience with ODBC programming.
