Adnoc Distribution was established in 1973 as the first
government-owned national company specialising in the marketing and
distribution of refined petroleum products in the United Arab
Emirates.

The company has grown over the years to become one of the largest
petroleum companies in the Arab Gulf region. It distributes its
products throughout the UAE, refuels aircraft at several airports,
manufactures and markets lubricants and operates more than 150 petrol
stations. It currently employs 3000+ employees.

Job Title: Senior Statistician

1.1  Basic Function:

1. Designs and develops robust statistical and data mining models of
   company's business processes to support management with sound
   decision making.

2. Performs detailed analysis of companys transactional data,
   assists corporate planning in developing companys performance
   reports, and recommends operational improvements through the
   application of statistical evaluations.

3. Supports operations and manufacturing with the application of
   statistical methods and data analysis including SPC, DOE, etc.

4. Assists marketing & sales with target marketing, customer
   segmentation, response modelling, and evaluation of marketing
   programs, etc.

1.2     Minimum Requirements

1. Advanced degree (MSc, PhD) in one of the following: statistics,
   machine learning, mathematics. Demonstrated capability with
   sophisticated analytical techniques such as decision trees, neural
   networks, etc. and traditional statistical techniques for quality
   improvement.

2. 3-5 years experience in applying proven statistical techniques and
   data mining in industry, including modelling and target marketing
   applications, research design and analysis: experience with
   statistical software and other analytical tools, preferably SAS.

3. High level of proficiency in English language with strong
   communication and interpersonal relation skills.

1.3     Salary and Other Benefits

Minimum Net monthly salary $3000.
