Northern Ireland, Nov. 9, 2000

MINEit Software Limited, Northern Ireland's first Internet software
products company, has become the first company on the island of
Ireland and only the second in the UK to scoop an 'IT Oscar' from the
European Information Society, part of the European Commission.  The
European Information Society Technology Awards held on 7th November in
Nice carry the greatest possible recognition for information and
technology companies across Europe. As well as picking up the Award,
MINEit were also presented with a cheque for 200,000 Euro.

MINEit was awarded the Grand Prize for their software Easyminer which
