Copernic.com launches Copernic Summarizer -- Software with "artificial intelligence" allowing it to understand a document and produce a summary instantly

Quebec (Canada), Tuesday, November 14, 2000 - Copernic.com, a world leader in the development of search solutions based on the use of intelligent agents, today announced the introduction of revolutionary new software, Copernic Summarizer, capable of summarizing texts and managing information.

This application for PCs is the first of its kind to be offered on the market. Its main purpose is to summarize texts on any subject after having "understood" their contents. The software produces summary reports featuring the main ideas found in the subject matter processed. Copernic Summarizer can handle texts from office and Internet applications, and even the clipboard. Summaries can also be printed out, copied, e-mailed, and exported to other applications.

Copernic Summarizer operates under Windows and can process documents in English, French, German, and Spanish. The current version integrates summarizer functions into three major applications on the market: Internet Explorer, Word, and Outlook.
