The Department of Global Analytics at the
Commerce (CIBC) invites applications for job opening in its Machine
Learning Applications Group. The latter is concerned with research and
development of machine learning and data mining algorithms for
predictive modelling of customer behavior related to retail and
commercial banking and recently to e-commerce. The Department offers a
stimulating working environment for R&D and encourages publications in
scientific journals and conferences.

Applicants must have a PhD in Computer Science or related field with
good math background and experience in one or more of the fields of
machine learning, data mining, predictive modelling, statistical
inference, pattern recognition. Good programming experience in
C++/Java/Matlab and SQL will be considered as a strong asset.
