Senior Statistician: Chicago, IL USA We have an opening for a highly motivated Sr. Statistician to help develop and test strategies for verifying statistical algorithms contained in SPSS data mining and analysis products. You will oversee the development, maintenance and augmentation of a statistical test bed for SPSS products. Responsibilities also include: developing and enforcing quality standards for statistician quality assurance, both within the QA group and within the Engineering group, overseeing and monitoring the work of the QA statistics group, and advising and educating the QA team on statistical testing. Job Requirements: * Ph.D. in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related field * 3 years experience in statistically oriented positions * Minimum 2 years experience in one or more computer languages such as C, C++, and Fortran. * Rich knowledge in numerical analysis and statistical computations and data mining * Excellent verbal and written skills.
