The First SIAM International Conference on Data Mining will be holding
several workshops on topics of current interest. These workshops will
allow the presentation and discussion of recent results. Submission
deadlines for workshops are available at the conference web site as
well as the workshop URLs indicated below. Attendees are required to
register for the SIAM International Conference on Data Mining; no
separate registration is needed for the workshops. Workshops planned

PAPER SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

Most of the workshops have a standard submissions process (please
check the workshop URL before submitting). To submit a paper for
consideration, send 4 copies of the manuscript to Ms. Peggy Stewart
(see address below). Electronic submissions (postscript or PDF
versions printable on 8.5 x 11 paper only) are strongly encouraged. To
guarantee consideration, manuscripts must be received by January 25,
2001, and must be no more than the required pages (see workshop URLs
for details). In the spirit of the workshop, submission of work in
progress is encouraged as well.
