MEGAPUTER Intelligence Inc., http://www.megaputer.com,  announced the release
of PolyAnalyst 4.3, a high-end DM tool that now offers SQL-mode
In-place Data Mining capability and complete support for OLE DB for
Data Mining.  These new features help processing very large databases
in their entirety and conveniently apply the resulting models for
scoring the bulk of the data in a standard SQL-based approach.

PolyAnalyst helps the user solve tasks of clustering, classifying,
segmenting, predicting, and explaining data, as well as finding
association rules in transactional data. It features eleven machine
learning algorithms supported by robust data import, manipulation,
visualization, scoring, and report generation capabilities.

Version 4.3 delivers many new features, including:
  * In-place SQL-mode Data Mining for processing very large databases.
    Supported algorithms: Decision Tree, Market Basket Analysis, Clustering
  * Full support for OLE DB for Data Mining: all PA algorithms now can
    produce and store models in OLE DB for DM format
  * Optimized Decision Tree algorithm based on Information Gain criteria
  * Support for weighted accuracy classification into different classes
    in the Classify algorithm
  * Improved Data Import Wizard that helps easily import data from any
    popular RDBMS through ODBC
  * Support for importing SAS data files
  * Newly re-optimized Market Basket Analysis algorithm
  * Charts in reports now feature interactive tracking - you can see the
    actual values as you browse with the mouse
  * Chart and Graph settings are now saved with the project - your
    illustrations look exactly as you left them
  * Improved Decision Tree viewer, with added functionality, including
    splitting a data set based on DT rules and hiding nodes below a
    user-selectable threshold of support
  * Lift and Gain charts added to the Decision Tree report
  * Save Decision Trees as HTML for comprehensive printing with all
    parameters included

Available: standalone, client/server, or as DCOM components.  An
