SoftwareFrom: Daniel Kottow dk17@inf.tu-dresden.deDate: Mon, 11 Dec 2000 14:47:52 +0100 Subject: Brush Bar: visualization and exploration using scatterplots and histograms Brush Bar is a graphical exploration tool for multivariate data sets. It is entirely based on the concept of brushing; the ability to select data in one view and have other views reflect this selection. Currently supported views are twodimensional scatterplots and a variety of histogram charts. All data windows share the same selected subsets, but each window loads its own data values which allows the user to generate many ``instances'' of the same data set (e.g. different preprocessing algorithms) and compare them simultaneously. details and screenshots at: http://www.inf.tu-dresden.de/~dk17/brush-bar PS: please consider this as a replace- and enhancement of cluster-senses. greetings, daniel kottow PhD student CS-department Dresden Germany |
