Package to attract the best

BT is at the forefront of the communications business, a position
maintained by putting customers first and providing them with an ever
improving range of high quality products and services.

In this integral role you will develop and implement strategic and
tactical customer models and scores. Responsible for in-depth analysis
of customer data, you will develop models of key behaviours in order
to optimise market segmentation and campaign targeting, using
sophisticated data mining and statistical analysis tools and
techniques to achieve this.

A key element of the role will involve working with the wider
marketing team to ensure the effective communication and application
of models and scores, and to achieve continuous improvement by
enabling marketing teams to deliver accurately targeted,
differentiated customer propositions and service.

Highly numerate and articulate you will probably have an educational
background in statistics, operational research or a similar discipline
requiring quantitative analysis skills. You should have expertise in
the use of statistical and data mining tools and techniques
(especially SAS Enterprise Miner, possibly Clementine or similar)
together with database construction and query experience. Familiarity
with the application of segmentation & modelling in a consumer
marketing environment would be an advantage.
