Director - Data Modeling & Targeting (Abacus Online) -
Reports to VP - Product Development (Abacus Online)

Main Responsibilities:
  • Further develop and refine the DoubleClick Anonymous Data Repository through: identification and definition of better data algorithms, data modeling, data scoring
  • Working closely with the DoubleClick and Abacus Market Leaders to identify new targeting & other data products derivable from the DoubleClick Anonymous Data Repository.
  • Developing New Product Requirements that match the identified needs.
  • Working with the Technology and Statistics Groups to technically size and build new data products for DoubleClick.
  • Own new products through the Beta Roll-out Phase.
  • Hand over fully operational products to the relevant Product Manager at Production Launch Phase.
  • Look for product integration and leverage opportunities within the wider DoubleClick Product environment.
  • Strong industry based knowledge in anonymous profile development for targeting, personalization and captivation
  • Strong Understanding of the impact and correct use online behavioral & demographic data.
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role elsewhere in the on-line/internet environment.
  • An strong understanding of Data and Technology.
  • Post Graduate Degree (in a Science related discipline).
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work on both sides of the product fence (business and technology).
