The Modeling and Analytics group is a team of internal consultants serving the needs of a variety of divisions including Marketing Strategy, Internal Acquisition, External Acquisition, Card Usage, Establishment Services, Finance, Risk Management, Financial Advisors, Internet Attrition Intervention and Customer Service.

These positions provide an opportunity to join one of the strongest modeling teams in the industry. In addition to working on high profile projects, this team employs cutting edge statistical techniques and uses the best software available - great experience that can lead to management responsibilities. Specific challenges include:

• Work directly with clients on multiple projects.
• Work with team members as well as external consultants to formulate and execute solutions.
• Participate in all stages of a project from the first meeting to the presentation of results.
• Choose and apply the appropriate statistical techniques to solve various problems, a non-exhaustive list of examples include: Descriptive Statistics,Clustering, CART, Regression (including Normal, Logistic and Neural Nets), and Experimental Design.

• MS in a quantitative field (e.g. Statistics, Math, Engineering, or, Economics)
• Knowledge of SAS/SPSS/BMDP software packages. Familiarity with SAS a plus.
• Experience in the Financial Services industry or Database Marketing industry a plus.
• Familiarity with Microsoft business software.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, interpersonal, communication, multi-task skills
