Co-founded in March, 2000 by Usama Fayyad, we have grown to over 85 employees today, with over 30 customers sending us data. digiMine delivers web analytics, data warehousing, and data mining applications to help e-businesses gather, manage, and understand data resulting from the various systems related to their web presence, including customer data, browsing data, transactions, product and catalog data, and marketing campaign data. digiMine also delivers data mining capabilities including predictive modeling, personalization, segmentation, and analysis reports driven by data mining algorithms for detecting interesting patterns in the comprehensive data warehouse.

digiMine is located in the Seattle, WA area. Our offices overlook Lake Washington with views of the Olympic Mountains.

digiMine Data Mining Engineers will work in a small team environment to design and implement production-quality back-end data analysis and data mining algorithms for analyzing large databases whose fundamental component is dynamic, web-based information. Focus on efficiency and scalability of design with aggressive release cycles. There is opportunity to work with additional technologies/areas including: Databases, OLAP, web-services, information processing, UI, etc. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a world-class team designing and developing cutting-edge solutions to real-world, practical data mining problems.

Requirements include:

• Experience developing high quality, efficient, scalable code.
• Excellent C++ design and programming knowledge. The successful candidate will have 2+ years of solid systems development experience in the Win32 environment using C++ or other industrial strength development tools.
• Strong object-oriented programming ability (C++) is required.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of SQL
• Microsoft Windows development experience
• Microsoft SQL Server development experience
• Design/Development experience over large databases
• Design/Development experience with web data
• Experience in data mining, machine learning, statistics, pattern recognition
• Design/Development of production quality code
