The Information Science department was created to enhance this company's ability to acquire, understand and capitalize on data. The mission of the Information Science Group is to enhance and simplify access to improved data sources and to assist the sales and marketing organizations in developing strategies. The Group supports projects on customer segmentation, promotion-response marketing and new product launches.

Our client is seeking highly talented individuals with a proven track record in:

• Creating, evaluating and acquiring new data sources
• Simplifying and expanding access to data throughout the organization
• Consulting with client teams to solve complex analytical problems
• Training client teams on new data sources and analytical techniques
• Contributing to data warehousing initiatives
• Pioneering the use of data mining and data visualization techniques

• Advanced degree
• U.S.citizen or U.S. Permanent Residence status
• Machine learning and pattern recognition (decision trees, clustering, neural nets, etc)
• Statistical modeling and design of experiments (e.g. SAS)
• Data warehouse and data mart design (e.g. ORACLE, MS Access)
• OLAP advanced query tools (e.g. Business Objects, MicroStrategy, Cognos)
