WebMiner has announces an opening for a qualified individual for a Data
Mining Engineer position in its New York office.  WebMiner provides fully
hosted data mining services. WebMiner is setting the new standards in the
delivery of data mining as a service over the Web for eBusinesses.  As a
fully hosted and managed service, we deliver a comprehensive and affordable
solution that is quick to deploy and easy to use. WebMiner is the
industry's first Profitability Service Provider (PSP) delivering data
mining applications to help e-businesses be more effective.  WebMiner
delivers data mining capabilities including predictive modeling,
personalization and segmentation driven by multiple data mining algorithms.


The candidate should be experience in data preparation including the
linking, merging and cleansing of flat-files and/or tables.  The applicant
should have expertise in OR/MS, data analysis, predictive modeling and
segmentation.  Experience in Oracle, Access, or other databases is a plus,
as well as experience with data mining tools from ANGOSS, Quadstone, SAS,
SGI, SPSS, etc., or other proprietary or commercial algorithms.  The
applicant should possess a high degree of marketing savvy, information
technology competence, and good communication skills.
