Feb. 07, 2001 (CRN daily) The National Basketball Association selected
the CRM developer's E.piphany E.5 solution to provide personalized
promotions and maximize customer service.  It is the first time a
major sports league has established a relationship with a
customer-interaction company, says E.piphany.

"E.piphany's software will allow us to gather crucial information
about basketball fans all over the world so we can reach out to them
on a personal level," said NBA official.
