Subject: StockMiner: software for stock market data mining 

The Financial Data Mining group at the University of Ulster has recently
developed
a software for stock investment decision support. The main functions
include:

    

  1.  Incremental modelling for one or more shares

  2.  Share price prediction based on the models built

  3.  Decision support: answer questions like "How many times a pattern
occurred in the past?", "How many times these past occurrences gave
comfortable returns"

  4.  Share selection and evaluation



StockMiner is based on our research on data mining and time series, in
particular, Lattice Machine.
