Company: This company develops innovative software and solutions in the for bioinformatics data exploration and analysis. This pre-IPO company has recently received an additional round of financing and is well-funded. Bioinformatics is an excellent area which is expected to grow in the current environment.

Position: the Manager will lead a group (currently 4-5 people) which is providing bioinformatics analytic services. The manager is expected to guide the group through the planned growth to 10-12 people.

Requirements:

• a PhD in Computer Science or similar
• Management experience is a must
• at least 3 years of data mining experience
• Experience in all phases of project management in a consulting environment
• Bioinformatics experience is strongly desired, including dealing with DNA microarray data and gene expression data

Salary range: 100-120,000, depending on the experience. Additional benefits include stock options.
