I read with interest the comments on the relationship between statistics and data mining in KDnuggets News issues 01:24 and 01:25. Based on my own experience and extensive reading, I very much acknowledge the importance of statistics to data mining. Would anyone care to recommend a statistics curriculum for data miners?
