Company: Financial trading company, providing solutions for technology-driven trading. The company was founded over 10 years ago and has multiple offices in the US. This position is located in the New York, NY office. The ideal candidate would be a recent PhD in Statistics, Finance, or Economics. The candidate should be very bright and have a good combination of applied and theoretical statistics skills. The candidate will be doing applied research on the huge volumes of micro-structure (trade-level) data and coming up with and testing models. The candidate will be joining a small but innovative finance research group. Salary is competitive and will depend on the experience.
