Information Sciences is organizing a special issue on Bioinformatics
and Data Mining. For this special issue we invite high quality submissions
at the interface between the two disciplines. Topics include, but are not
limited to, the following:
Bioterrorism and syndromic surveillance
Diagnosis
Discovery of clinical prediction rules and guidelines
Drug design and combinatorial libraries
Gene finding, mapping and therapy
Health services utilization and planning
Image mining
Large-scale gene expression data analysis
Mining of medical text and narrative
Modeling of biochemical pathways and gene networks
Molecular dynamics and simulation
Molecular sequence analysis
Phylogeny construction and evolutionary analysis
Physiologic signal detection
Protein structure and function prediction
Scalability issues with high-dimensional medical data
Whole genome comparative analysis
Manuscripts should be 20-25 pages in length. While preparing your manuscript
