The EGC2003 3rd French-speaking conference is sponsored by PKDD international conference, and french institutes (AFIA, ASTI, CNRS, HCP INFORSID, PRC-GDR I3, SFC, SFdS, ...). Conference proceedings will be published in the "Extraction des Connaissances et Apprentissage" journal.

The aim of the conference is to bring together multidisciplinary researchers and company professionals around Knowledge Discovery in Data and Knowledge Management issues.

The conference will be held in Lyon, France, on January 22-23-24, 2003. On-line registration and practical details are available on the web site.
