"Fight Crime with Data Mining" is the topic of a free online seminar that will be hosted by SPSS Inc., a worldwide leader of predictive analytics, on Tuesday, February 25, at 2:00 p.m. (CST). The seminar's featured speaker is Dr. Colleen McCue from the Richmond (VA) Police Department's Crime Analysis Unit. Dr. McCue will present an overview of how data mining is used at the Richmond Police Department to increase investigative efficacy, engage in behavioral analysis of violent crime, support infrastructure protection, perform risk and threat assessment and deploy timely information.
