Position Description:

Develops, maintains, and improves Business Card program policies and procedures. Responsible for program implementation including developing specifications, implementing, and monitoring the program characteristics. Duties also include responsibility for producing reports and analysis on existing programs and supporting new policy analytics. Assists in making recommendations specific to the growth, profitability, and compliance objectives of the department. Analyst will have ownership responsibility for a defined group of business processes that fall within the Data Integration. This will provide the analyst with a broader job scope and allow more independent project work to achieve set goals, requiring some decision making. Strong multi-tasking will be necessary in this position. Has an impact on the success of the functional area and secondary impact on the success of the department and cross functions. Makes recommendations on project and systems tasks within Business Card unit. Decisions will have impact on functional unit. Will communicate high level results of decisions to management. Some system change decision making within defined job scope/functional area. Analyst will use own judgment on approach and problem solving in analytical projects. Analyst will make recommendations to managers on possible new hire candidates. Customer interaction will cut across various business functional areas (Decision Management, Marketing, Credit Policy, IS) and involve communication of results. Interaction on projects or policy changes with other bank departments in presence of manager or project lead. Will attend in a variety of cross-functional meetings with multiple levels of management inclusion.

Job Requirements:

• 4-year college degree in a quantitative discipline preferred OR related work experience.
• MBA or other graduate degree is a plus.
• 1-3 years database marketing, analytical or equivalent experience - preferably in financial services.
• Computer literacy/proficiency in data query tools such as SAS, SQL, Oracle, Unix, and MS Office preferred.
• Strong analytical, technical and statistical skills with proven ability to process vast amounts of data into meaningful information.
• Strong communication skills & ability to work independently.
• Project management skills a plus.
• Credit card & BtoB experience strongly preferred, but not required.
