Marketing Research/Database Marketing Analyst II

The ideal candidate will be responsible for in-depth analysis of database information. Creates predictive statistical models to aid in various marketing initiatives. Recommends marketing strategies based upon complex analytical tasks. Conducts and coordinates inter-departmental market research projects. Coordinates marketing research projects with outside vendors when applicable. Creates marketing management reports using various statistical applications and database management tools.

Bachelor's degree in Marketing or statistics and 4-7 years of quantitative marketing research or data mining experience required. Must possess a strong statistical background with prior marketing research, consumer marketing, and data mining experience preferred. Requires demonstrated skills working within a complex environment with demonstrated capabilities in organizing, translating, and presenting complex quantitative information. The individual must have experience using relational databases and data warehouses. Customer relationship management (CRM) experience preferred. Highly organized with a strong competency in SQL, relational database schema design, SPSS, Affinium Model/Model One or similar data mining software. Working knowledge of advanced statistical methods such as regression, factor analysis, neural networks, and genetic algorithms with a proven ability to build statistical models using Affinium Model/Model One (or similar modeling software) is essential. Familiarity with data mining concepts such as CRISP-DM. Master's or advanced degree in a quantitative discipline preferred (Ph.D. a plus). Must possess a valid driver's license.
