Job Description

Amazon is looking for a unique software engineer with a strong background in statistical analysis and machine learning/artificial intelligence for our Customer Data Mining team. Candidates must be innovative, creative, flexible and self-directed, with the ability to design and write reliable and maintainable code. Solid communication skills and the ability to work well in a team are critical.

Candidates should be experienced in C/C++ or Java, and SQL, and be familiar with database programming. Candidates should have a track record of proven on-time delivery and be able to illustrate mastery of data analysis and data mining techniques. Minimum of 3-5 years industry experience in data mining/machine learning and a bachelor's degree in computer science is required. An advanced degree in computer science or statistics is strongly preferred.
