Yahoo! Media & Data Services is looking for a taleted engineer to be part of the business intelligence reporting team to design, implement, test, and maintain the analytics datamarts and reporting systems for different business units at Yahoo! The system will be served as the foundation for Yahoo!'s business units on decision making.

A successful canadiate will be responsible for data acquisition/analysis/design, logical/physical modeling, database design, performance tuning, and reports set up. Other responsibilities include working with team members to resolve reporting issuss, perform data quality validation, and write design, implementation, testing, operation documents.

A successful candidate should have:

• Strong communication and problem solving skills.
• 5+ years in building Oracle-based data warehouses/marts with a strong appreciation for recently introduced Oracle capabilities specifically for data warehousing applications.
• 5+ years experience in ETL implementation using custom scripts or tools such as DataStage or Informatica. Must be very strong in ETL processing concepts.
• 5+ years of PL/SQL. A very strong grasp of the language is required.
• Experience with BI frontends such as MicroStrategy a plus
