Position Description:

This position is responsible for identifying opportunities to increase revenue on the portfolio and targeting new and existing strategies to maximize revenue and portfolio profitability. In addition, the person in this position will be responsible for analyzing the performance of the existing Customer base and for monitioring and analyzing the performance of account management strategies against the current portfolio. This position will involve significant analytical work as well as significant leadership in the development of new bankwide strategies. The individual in this position will have regular interation with senior managers of the bank as well as organizations across the bank including Finance, Operations and Credit.

Assists in making recommendations specific to the growth, profitability, and compliance objectives of the department. Analyst will have ownership responsibility for a defined group of business processes. This will provide the analyst with a broader job scope and allow more independent project work to achieve set goals, requiring some decision-making. Strong multi-tasking will be necessary in this position. Makes recommendations on project and systems tasks within business unit. Decisions will have impact on functional unit. Will communicate high-level results of decisions to management. Some system change decision-making within defined job scope/functional area. Analyst will use own judgment on approach and problem solving in analytical projects.

Qualifications:

A 4-year college degree in a quantitative discipline required. MBA or graduate degree specifically in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Economics, Agricultural Economics, or Statistics is a plus. 1-2 years analytical or equivalent experience - preferably in financial services. SAS experience, computer literacy/proficiency in data query tools such as SQL, Oracle, Unix, and MS Office preferred. Strong analytical, technical and statistical skills with proven ability to process vast amounts of data into meaningful information. Strong communication skills & ability to work independently. Project management skills a plus. Credit card experience preferred, but not required.
