Working within the newly formed Analytic Services Group, the Data Mining Analyst will work on multi-discipline project teams and be responsible for the delivery of analytical assignments using leading edge analysis techniques and technologies. The current focus of the analytical assignments will be the development and integration of targeting models to further understand and predict consumer purchase behaviors within the automotive industry. This individual will also play a pivotal role as we identify opportunities to use analytical techniques across other areas of the business.

Qualifications:

Two or more years of experience applying statistical and data analysis techniques. Experience in a consumer or database marketing environment is preferred. Strong programming skills with extensive experience in SAS (must have) and SQL. Experience with relational databases and MS Office is required. A strong background in statistical analysis and procedures, and familiarity with Multiple Linear Regression, Multiple Logistic Regression, Cluster Analysis, CHAID, and other related data mining techniques.

Education:

A bachelors degree in statistics, mathematics, operations research, computer science or related field. MS or PHD is preferred.
