We're looking for a talented native speaker of Japanese to help drive our efforts in building the best Japanese language search engine possible. Areas of focus include relevance analysis, ranking algorithms, indexing, word breaking, and anything else that stands between us and complete satisfaction of our Japanese customers.

This position is based in Redmond but requires close coordination with MSN Japan. Occasional travel to Japan is required.

The ideal candidate will be a native Japanese speaker, completely fluent and comfortable in English, with a deep understanding of technology and a proven track record in program management. Specific search engine expertise is not required but is a major plus. A coding background is also a plus.
