Subject: PhD Studentship in Data Mining at ASTON UNIVERSITY, Birmingham, UK

TITLE: PhD Research Studentship in the use of Data Mining to understand recovery from alcoholic addiction.

DETAILS: Research Opportunity: Applications are invited for a PhD Studentship due to begin in April/June 2005. The studentship will be a collaborative project between Addaction and Aston University.

You should have a first or upper second class degree in Engineering or Computing . A knowledge of Java and AI is essential. However, a knowledge of pattern recognition and neural networks would be a distinct advantage.
