Subject: VFML library for mining massive data streams

The VFML (Very Fast Machine Learning) library for mining very large databases and data streams is now available at

http://www.cs.washington.edu/dm/vfml/

It is written in C, and includes highly scalable implementations of several widely used machine learning algorithms:

  • VFDT: Decision tree induction
  • CVFDT: Decision tree induction with concept drift
  • VFBN: Bayesian network structure learner
  • VFEM: EM algorithm for mixtures of Gaussians
  • VFKM: K-means clustering
  • Etc.
In addition, VFML includes tools for data preparation, testing, and rapid development of stream mining systems.
