June 1, 1005. Today Insightful Corporation (Nasdaq: IFUL) announced that Ohio Savings Bank’s Indirect Lending division has selected S-PLUS® 7 Enterprise Developer, the de facto industry standard software platform for statistical data analysis and predictive analytics.

The software is improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the indirect lending decision-making processes in a variety of business areas, including application-based risk scoring, portfolio risk management, and collections behavior strategies.

Insightful released S-PLUS 7 in April 2005. S-PLUS 7 is a major milestone for Insightful in taking its flagship product that has been the standard on the desktop for predictive analytics and statistics to now scaling the product for deployment across the enterprise. With this release, statisticians, developers, and IT personnel can deploy S-PLUS to read, manipulate, and analyze unlimited amounts of data to hundreds of users who do not have special expertise in statistical methods.
