a Senior Database Marketing Analyst to join our Marketing Operations
Team.
The Database Marketing Analyst is responsible for supporting data and
information needs of the SME marketing department and its acquisition,
retention, loyalty, cross-sell and market development efforts. In
addition, the position is responsible for handling external and
internal list request across many departments.
Job description:
- Handle requests for internal lists and list exchanges
- Evaluate and analyze metrics on customer database with in-depth knowledge of all data elements.
- Responsible for analysis and reporting of customer database.
- Team with Systems partners in the development and maintenance of data
quality and hygiene standards and enhancing internal controls
- Collaborate with vendors/consultants to develop acquisition,
retention, or cross-sell models
- Set up campaign tests and utilize in-house software to analyze and report direct marketing data coming in from several different sources
- Team with Reporting group design standard reports on needed basis
- Evaluate and recommend data appends to customer database to enhance targeted marketing efforts
- Team with Segment Managers and Campaign Managers in the development
of targeted marketing programs and tests Coordinate list management
and merge/purge processing for direct mail and other direct marketing campaigns
- Support the adoption of new campaign management and analytical tools.
Requirements:
- Strong quantitative skills required
- Excellent business judgment, common sense and the ability to recognize
and clearly communicate business implications of data
- Must have effective oral and written communication skills, including use of
compelling visuals to effectively communicate challenging or technical
concepts
- Project and time management skills with an ability to set
and maintain priorities in a multi-task environment and communicate
potential workload issues
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability
to communicate effectively with business partners.
- Access, SQL (SAS preferred or other regression tools)
Preferred Skills:
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- Statistical analysis experience including database marketing a must.
