Subject: Bayesian networks for Data Mining - BayesiaLab 4.0 is now available

Bayesia announces the release of the version 4.0 of BayesiaLab, the leading software in the market of Bayesian networks and Data Mining.

The main new features of this release are:

  • Total recasting of the wizard that allows associating databases to an existing Bayesian network. It is now as powerful and flexible as the importation wizard (discretization, aggregation, sampling, filtering, weighting) and allows a better memory management;
  • New automatic aggregation algorithm to deal with discrete variables that have many modalities;
  • A graphical toolbox that offers a new set of analysis tools (bar chart, occurrence matrix with Khi2 test, scatter of points (2D and 3D) and bubble chart);
  • A new semi-supervised learning algorithm to extract networks centered on a target node and that are constraint to a user defined target neighborhood;
  • A new dynamic programming algorithm to compute the optimal action policies of the static Bayesian networks;
  • and, as usual, increased ergonomics of the interface and performance improvements.

You can consult the newsletter that describes more in details the new functionalities of BayesiaLab 4.0 on our web site: http://www.bayesia.com/GB/produits/NewsLetter1105.php
