Recently, I found a large number of postings on KDnuggets Forums and on KDnuggets Polls which came from bots (automated software programs) and were promoting various irrelevant items.

To make it more difficult for bots to make postings, I changed the Beginners Forum to allow postings only from registered users.

I also changed the KDnuggets Polls to require moderator approval for all comments.
