Comcast deploys CallMiner for call data mining

The US communications provider Comcast Corporation has appointed speech analytics software firm CallMiner to deploy its Virtual Server Room distributed processing platform to analyse every recorded call to Comcast's Midwest call centre. Comcast's 200-seat Midwest call centre generates thousands of hours of recorded calls each day. CallMiner's system makes use of the existing unused computer processing power of Comcast's call centre PCs and servers to process the recorded calls, which can then be used by CallMiner's Analytics Suite.
