Key Role:
Bring statistical and data mining expertise to the successful development and implementation of effective business solutions for a wide range of clients in the federal government and the private sector. Work in cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teams and continuously strive to address client issues, ensuring the timely delivery and scientific validity of recommendations and results. Work with a diverse group of statisticians, business consultants, and industry experts to solve quantitative business problems. Manage large client engagements and play an active role in business development.

Functional/Industry Knowledge:

• 8-10 years of experience with utilizing leading data mining COTS software, including SAS, SPSS, Fair Isaac, S-Plus, Mineset, and Angoss
• Experience with handling diverse data sources in multiple formats to develop analytical datasets and experience in a data-mining environment
• Experience with research projects involving multi-disciplinary teams as well as extensive background and experience in a consulting environment
• Experience with making successful presentations to assorted audiences with varying levels of technical or statistical knowledge
• Experience with large enterprise-level databases or high-volume transactional environments preferred
• Ability to implement complex statistical, data mining, and programming techniques to solve quantitative business problems, including customer relationship management, improper payments, and fraud, waste, and abuse preferred
