The Customer Analytics research Program (CAP) at Hewlett-Packard Laboratories is seeking to fill the position of post-doctorate researcher in data mining. The focus of this research program is on using statistical techniques, probabilistic models, machine learning principles as a basis for understanding customer behavior, automated decision making, and management of complex human behavioral systems. This work requires interdisciplinary research at the confluence of statistical modeling, machine learning, pattern recognition, psychometrics, and marketing research with emphasis on applying these disciplines to interesting real world problems.
