A new version of the MiningMart platform for the preparation of relational data for Knowledge Discovery is now available at

http://mmart.cs.uni-dortmund.de/

The software is free for research and non-commercial applications only! The sources are available.

MiningMart is a graphical interface that allows to set up, execute, document and publish Knowledge Discovery Processes. It uses relational data and now supports Oracle and Postgres databases. The new version offers:

• New powerful operators for KDD-specific tasks
• A better integration with the YALE learning environment
• An improved, structured view on the data collections produced during preparation
• A public collection of template applications
• Easy installation
• A new graphical user interface
• Access to the sources under GNU GPL and partly LGPL
