Join the Strategic Advertising Incubation group within MSN and be part of an exciting cross-disciplinary team working on incubation projects for MSN's next generation advertising platform.

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Analytics Scientist to drive the specification, design, development and performance of next-generation systems for advertising monetization. This candidate will work with a team of developers to produce working prototypes for MSN.

Requirements:
Knowledge and experience in the following areas is required

• statistical analysis of data, machine learning methods, numerical and stochastic optimization, web technologies, SQL, C/C#, large scale data processing, object-oriented design and development, data warehousing and data mining.
• Proven ability to design and lead development of high-performance, reliable, industrial strength code is required.
• Additional qualifications include team player with the ability to work in small teams, self-starter who embraces new challenges with enthusiasm, desires to innovate, has the ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment, engages effectively with key stakeholders, identifies and sets success criteria and has a full understanding of the define/build/ship development cycle.
• Candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrable understanding of the architectural tradeoffs that are made in the software design process and the ability to communicate and negotiate with external partners - on the business side as well on a detailed technical level.
• Five or more years of industry experience in Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Economics.
