BASIC PURPOSE
Design, create, conduct, analyze and manage all aspects of qualitative and quantitative research projects and report findings to internal clients.

Duties

• Work with internal departments to identify research needs and conduct projects based on the methodology that best fits.
• Oversee, coordinate, and conduct a variety of market research methodologies including surveys, data analysis, focus groups, etc.
• Achieve member insights through data mining existing database data and data gathered through research projects.
• Present research findings in formal and informal reports and presentations.
• Collect and analyze data on economic and industry trends, competitor practices, consumer buying trends, demographic and psychological drivers, and other factors that impact operations and strategy
• Apply research methodology and findings to a variety of business related situations.

• Experience with large and small projects
• Working knowledge of strategic planning practices, market research and analysis processes, market forecasting and cost-benefit analysis techniques.
• Proficiency in using database, spreadsheet, presentation and word processing computer applications.
• Strong analytical skills, including the application and analysis of statistical tests.
• Interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills including skill in writing reports, guiding and directing, presenting, persuading, etc.
• Proficiency in conducting research, analyzing market data and interpret findings by translating complex statistical data into understandable concepts.
• Experience in using SPSS, SAS or a similar statistical program that provides a working knowledge of statistical computer software applications.
