Subject: Postdoc in Bioinformatics at U. Texas at Dallas
One postdoctoral position is now open for suitable applicants who are
enthusiastic about playing a key role in the Laboratory for
Bioinformatics and Medical Informatics at the University of Texas at
Dallas, Richardson, TX (http://www.utdallas.edu/~yxl059100/). We are
looking for post-docs interested in working on bioinformatics, and
systems biology.
Current and future research & development topics include:
- Specificity analysis of biomolecular interactions
- Design principles of biological systems
- Quantitative definition of biological function
- Functional networks of small RNA molecules
- Simulation and prediction of perturbation effects in pathways
You may have a PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, mathematics,
physics, or engineering. Strong background and experience in graph
theory, graph mining, data mining and complex system analysis are
required. Bioinformatics research experience is preferred but not
required.
