Role/Responsibilities
Position Overview
Be a part of a
team of highly motivated and talented scientists and engineers
responsible for the development and deployment of the state-of-the-art
predictive and decision models for a variety of financial, E-commerce,
telecommunication, and other applications
Job Responsibilities Design and develop innovative
data-driven predictive and decision models to solve a variety of
business problems using the latest technologies in neural networks,
machine learning, data mining, statistical modeling, pattern
recognition, and artificial intelligence.
The main responsibilities include:
- Analyzing and understanding large amounts of historical data to determine suitability for modeling
- In-depth data understanding and exploratory analyses
- Pattern identification and feature extraction and selection
- Analytic model design and development using different types of algorithms and modeling techniques,
- Analyzing model performance and preparing model reports for communication with internal and external clients,
- Participating in pre-sales process and providing post implementation support.
Experience/Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications
- MS in computer science, statistics, math, engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong problem solving and analytic ability
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Unix and at least one major programming language such as C or Java.
Preferred qualifications:
2+ years of experience in analytic model development in financial industry or telecommunications
