RealAge, Inc., a consumer-health media company and provider of personalized health information, is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer.

Primary responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Analyze, define, develop, and maintain Business Intelligence applications and architectures -- tracking, data warehouse, reporting tools, and interfaces
• Research new technologies and provide appropriate recommendations
• Review data analysis requests and analyze business needs to define data structures for data warehouse and Business Intelligence tools and applications
• Consult with management to define data requirements and priorities for Business Intelligence needs
• Gather, analyze, model, and report data
• Ensure data integrity
• Guide and train end users on the use of Business Intelligence tools
• Develop standards, policies, and procedures for Business Intelligence tools and systems
• Implement and QA tracking
• Integrate existing tracking and Business Intelligence tools with newly implemented tools
• Independently or collectively (in conjunction with DBAs) conduct query performance, tuning, and optimization

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (and/or equivalent experience)
• 2 years of Business Intelligence experience
• Extensive knowledge of Business Intelligence concepts, practices, and procedures
• Proficiency in SQL and programming concepts
• Advanced knowledge of and proficiency with Microsoft Office products, ER diagrams, data modeling, and ETL
• Advanced understanding of relational database principles and dashboards/reporting tools
• Strong analytical skills and statistical knowledge
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Master's degree in Computer Science, Math or Statistics
