In occasion of the sixth Scientific Meeting of the Classification and Data Analysis Group of the Italian Statistical Society (September 12-14 2007, Macerata � Italy), a Tutorial on "Data mining for CRM" will take place on September 10th and 11th.

Customer relationship management aims to identify means to create and enhance a company's relationship with its clients, to provide efficient communication with customers, to retain existing customers and to acquire new and potential customers. Many data mining techniques can allow us to achieve the previous goals and all of them are based on the analysis of customer interests, requirements and buying habits. The tutorial includes case studies using SAS Enterprise Miner; no previous knowledge of this tool is assumed or required.
