In this role, you will provide critical detailed intelligence gathering. This includes information gathering on companies and individuals using public information sources, such as public and regulatory filings, press coverage, brokerage reports, court documents, public records, etc.; verifying synthesizing and summarizing information; and disseminating this information, along with analysis and recommendations to the team.

We are willing to train the right individual with the following basic requirements:

• Bachelors degree with proven academic achievement, preference for economics concentration
• At least 5 years experience. We will consider a variety of backgrounds including finance, economics, journalism, paralegal, accounting etc.
• Highly analytic and numerate
• Resourceful and tenacious investigator, with superior writing skills
• Strong familiarity with multiple public research tools including the internet, (e.g. Google)
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Experience reviewing large volumes of data
• Proficient with Excel
• Aptitude for understanding corporate financial reporting, SEC filings, and legal issues
• Ability to communicate in a confident, thorough, and concise manner
• Must be able to manage numerous projects simultaneously under deadline pressure
• Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus
