Job Description & Responsibilities
We are seeking modelers with significant expertise in machine learning and datamining to build predictive models.

• Developing custom, production quality predictive models and scorecards.
• Develop prototype algorithms and solutions.
• Perform data extraction, manipulation, and cleaning.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis, modeling, and data mining.
• Become a subject matter expert in Intelligent Results technology and software.
• Contribute to development of Intelligent Results software platform through applied research, experience, and creativity.

• Minimum 4 years of experience working with modern machine learning and/or datamining methods such as boosting, bagging, SVM, genetic algorithms, neural nets, self organizing maps, latent semantic indexing, association rules, pattern mining, etc.
• Minimum 3 years of experience manipulating and working with large datasets using SQL, Perl, or equivalent tools.
• Experience coding machine learning algorithms.
• Must have experience with modern statistical methods including linear and nonlinear regression.
• PhD or Masters in computer science, mathematics, operations research or statistics.
• Must have sufficient experience to anticipate customer needs and suggest alternative approaches to data analysis problems.
• Must be able to develop a good verbal and written rapport with clients.
• Must be able to work hands-on with minimal supervision or assistance and take a problem from dirty data to final deliverable.

• Positions available for candidates at multiple levels (with higher levels of experience than the minimums listed).
• Experience with some statistical package (SAS, S-plus).
• Experience with text mining, time-series data, forecasting, simulation, and/or optimization.
